New York New York

Chilly but sunny - the streets of NYC are busy as always. For the last 6 days I roamed the streets of New York. Haven’t been to the big apple in a while and never visited any of the art museums before - about time to take a look. My visits included the Guggenheim, MoMA, the National Design Museum, the Whitney, ICP and the New Museum. NYC has so many more museums, but I realized I need much more time to see them all. I walked along some parts of Central Park, Times Square, Brooklyn, 5th Ave and Chinatown to feel the energy of the city with all its people and art again. I loved spending time in one of the most exciting cities I know and enjoyed the accessible public transportation. I’ll be back soon.

I went for a short hike in Joshua Tree National Park over the Thanksgiving weekend with my friends. You can’t really tell here, but the chilly temperatures turned the rain into snow. Of course it melted right away. On the way back I photographed the endless windmills around Palm Springs. You can also see the first snow on the mountain tops. Click here to view more photos.
